What QuietPin is
A travel app that suggests places and keeps a map of where you have been. Using it means agreeing to these terms.
What we charge for
The map is free and always will be. Planning is paid: a trip pass is a one-off purchase for a single trip, and the annual plan covers every trip for twelve months and renews yearly until cancelled. Your first trip is free.
Purchases are handled by Apple. Cancel or manage a subscription in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Refunds are Apple's to give, not ours — request one through Apple.
Suggestions are suggestions
QuietPin builds plans from open data that can be wrong or out of date. We record when each place was last checked and show it, but a place can close, move or change its hours between checks. Confirm anything that matters — a table you need, a museum you have travelled for — before you rely on it. We are not responsible for a journey that did not work out.
Your content
Your trips and notes are yours. If you sign in, you give us permission to store and sync them so you can get them back — nothing more. We claim no ownership and will not publish them.
Fair use
Do not scrape the catalogue, resell it, or use the app to build a competing dataset. The underlying open data has its own licences and is free for anyone to use directly; the curation is ours.
Ending things
Delete your account in the app whenever you like. We may suspend access for abuse of the service. If we ever shut QuietPin down, we will give notice and a way to export your trips.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be removed by agreement.
